A voice I’m not sure I own

Collage submitted anonymously

Note from the creator

The aim of the collage is to hopefully provoke discussion on the difference between 'having', or 'possessing', something, and 'owning', or 'taking (full) ownership', of it; where does the point of differentiation lie? Can we 'have' something if we don't see it as ours to do what we like with? I find it particularly profound to think about this with reference to our very own bodies, opinions and voices - these are so intrinsically our own and unique to us as individuals, and yet are so often one of the areas where we, particularly women*, lack the most autonomy, if primarily in our subconscious.
